VEgas Wish

OUR MISSION

Inspire, uplift and strengthen our community through innovative public initiatives. To provide resources, support and build partnerships with other non-profits.

OUR HISTORY

Vegas Wish was created in the darkest hour in Las Vegas history, the Route 91 festival shooting that shook the city on October 1st 2017. To help people focus on something positive, Chachi and Vince came together with the idea of taking Chachi’s seasons tickets to the Las Vegas Golden Knights hockey team and giving them away to local teachers, the homeless, those who have served our country and other Las Vegas residents. With the addition to Andi, Daniel and Arielle to the Vegas Wish team, the movement grew as Vegas Wish gave away tickets to other sporting events, concerts and other experiences.

Three and a half years ago, I started on a quest with my youngest daughter, Louisa. We entered a contest to win tickets to a Vegas Golden Knights game. We first had to make a sign thanking Vegas Wish and take a picture. Then, the second challenge was to take another pic by the Welcome to Las Vegas sign. Our girl wasn’t feeling well, but she wouldn’t give up on the quest. Well, she succeeded as the winner and she ended up with a huge surprise. On Valentine’s Day 2018, Vegas Wish had us go to Station 82. Louisa was surprised by the Henderson Fire Department and Vegas Wish. They let her know that she had won tickets to a Vegas Golden Knights game, got to ride in a ladder truck, and was presented with an amazing rock. She had such an incredible afternoon and met some amazing friends. Louisa went to the game on February 17th and took her oldest sister, Jacinda. Louisa didn’t get to see her favorite, Shea Theodore play, but she had the most unbelievable time. She made fantastic memories and still talks about this experience all the time. Vegas Wish sent her on a quest for tickets and she feels like she won so much more.

Vegas Wish to me is about bringing a smile to everyday Las Vegas residents. I was introduced to Vegas Wish by one of the founders who gifted me Vegas Knights tickets. I asked what can I do in return and he replied “just pay it forward.” I now am paying it forward by volunteering and donating a few Silver Knights tickets! I’ve volunteered with many organizations here in Las Vegas. I love volunteering for Vegas Wish because of their compassion and love for our community! Such a great group of people to be associated with. Thanks Vegas Wish for all you do!

Vegas Wish is an amazing organization. They will go above and beyond to make wishes come true and they will do it with a smile on their face or a tear in their eye. They are a determined group that stop at nothing to make sure a whole family is happy. They have made us feel welcomed and always greet each one of our family members with a warm hug. When we met Chachi and Vince almost 3 years ago, we were at a very hard time in our life. Our daughter was freshly diagnosed with cancer. Vegas Wish took us into their family and made us one of their own. They celebrated our daughter Izzy and the princess warrior that she is! They threw her a dinner, showered her with gifts and presented her with tickets to the Vegas Golden Knights game! Since then, their sincerity and love has forever made us a fan of what Vegas Wish is about! We love you and from the bottom of our heart we thank you for every single thing you have done!
